If CNAME records don't work as expected for you (as is the case with some registrars like Namecheap or Bluehost), then using an A record should work better. We're using GoDaddy here as an example, but any domain registrar will do.

  1. Login to your domain registrar.

  2. In your domain list, select the DNS button on the domain you want to connect.

  1. In the DNS records list, click the ADD button. (Or edit the A record if you have one already with the same Name)

  1. Select A as the record type.

  1. Enter these values:

Type: A Host: @ (or your desired subdomain) Points to: 52.204.156.235 TTL: Custom (600 seconds)
